What are the differences?

The OWK in most cases is handled the same as any other keg and weighs seven (7) kilos less than its steel equivalent.

Many government bodies in the world have reduced the safe working weights. OWK is the lighter solution and also offers potential savings in shipping and transportation costs. The OWK is recycled and therefore not returned creating a significant saving in return freight.

Simplified logistics with OWK

OWK is one-way-traffic – keg handling is rationalised and simplified. All of this leads to many steps of the traditional process being removed thus reducing costs. The greatest saving is the return freight but there are many other cost-saving advantages, as demonstrated below:
